About the Role
The Capital Markets' Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between customers, business stakeholders, and the software development team. This role involves gathering and translating business requirements into actionable documentation, supporting project execution, and ensuring quality standards. In addition to project responsibilities, the Business Analyst contributes to the commercial success of the product by participating in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and RFP responses. This dual role demands a strong understanding of capital markets operations and financial instruments, excellent communication and documentation skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, client-facing environmentResponsibilities

- Capital Markets and Financial knowledge
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills in English (C1 level or higher is preferred).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking.
- Strong requirement gathering abilities to obtain business needs from clients.
- Strong skills in documenting processes and identifying gaps.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to communicate complexities in a simple and clear manner, including the ability to present to a broad range of audiences.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Bachelor's degree in finance or economics.
- Minimum 4 years of capital markets experience is mandatory (financial instruments, trading process, corporate actions, others).
- Exposure to trading, risk management, depository, or custody platforms is mandatory.
- Experience as a Business Analyst is a plus.
- Banking environment experience is a plus.
- FIX protocol, ISO 15022/MT or ISO 20022 knowledge is a plus.
- Possibility to travel to clients all over the world, especially in LATAM and The Caribbean.
