At ioet, a leading software company with a talented team across LATAM, we provide Software Engineering as a service to clients worldwide. Our positions are full-time, remote, and offer competitive compensation in USD.We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and PostgreSQL. The role requires familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Datadog, as well as a good understanding of messaging systems like RabbitMQ (experience a plus). Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll collaborate closely with non-technical teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is comfortable asking questions, clarifying requirements, and working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.Requirements:

5+ years of experience working with Python, including at least 1-2 years of recent hands-on experience
Experience with Node.js is a plus
Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL
Be familiar with AWS and Kubernetes
Experience using Datadog and feeling comfortable debugging
Knowledge in RabbitMQ, hands-on experience is a plus
Advanced English proficiency, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
