The project's mission is to lead a comprehensive Jira Cloud implementation and optimization effort across up to five distinct business cases.As a Senior Business Analyst and Jira Specialist, you will be the bridge between complex business requirements and technical execution. You will design, configure, and refine the Jira ecosystem to ensure seamless workflows, robust data integration, and high-performance delivery standards across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities
  • Jira Cloud Architecture: Lead the setup and configuration of Jira projects, including sophisticated workflow design, custom fields, and issue type schemes.
  • Requirements Lifecycle: Facilitate discovery sessions to gather requirements, translating business needs into high-quality user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Access & Governance: Design and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure data security and organizational compliance.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Oversee the integration of Jira with critical enterprise systems, including PowerBI, Snowflake, and Salesforce.
  • Agile Management: Manage and prioritize backlogs, ensuring sprint-based delivery remains aligned with project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
  • Reporting & Insights: Utilize JQL (Jira Query Language) to build advanced dashboards and reports that provide visibility into project health and team velocity.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine SDLC processes to improve software delivery efficiency and cross-team collaboration.
Must-Have Skills
  • Jira Cloud Expert: Extensive experience in Jira Cloud implementation, configuration, and optimization.
  • Business Analysis Core: Proven expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Agile Proficiency: Deep understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and the ability to operate within high-speed, sprint-based environments.
  • Advanced JQL: Strong ability to write complex Jira Query Language filters for advanced reporting and automation.
  • Workflow Engineering: Demonstrated ability to design and manage complex process workflows that map to real-world business cases.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and provide technical guidance to diverse stakeholders.
  • Remote Excellence: Proven experience working in Agile teams within 100% remote environments.
  • Language: Fluent English for daily professional communication and documentation.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Certifications: Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) or similar Jira/Agile certifications.
  • Data & Reporting: Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or Snowflake for advanced data visualization.
  • Technical Literacy: Knowledge of API integrations and basic proficiency in SQL or Python for data manipulation.
  • Enterprise Scale: Experience navigating multi-team, multi-project environments within large-scale organizations.
Location & Time ZoneThis is a 100% remote position for residents in LATAM. To ensure seamless collaboration with our client, candidates must be able to work within Central Time (CT) business hours.LanguageCommunication is key to our success.
