We’re seeking a Web Developer + Graphic Designer with a strong focus on WordPress development, ongoing site maintenance, and client-facing design work.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and improvements across multiple client websites
  • Implement content updates, layout adjustments, and bug fixes
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and PHP-based functionality
  • Ensure websites are stable, secure, and optimized
  • Build and modify responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Translate mockups into clean, maintainable code
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance
  • Create website mockups and UI concepts for client approval using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines
  • Support light graphic design needs (banners, layout elements, visual assets)
  • Collaborate with SEO efforts by ensuring technical best practices (site speed, structure, clean code)
  • Implement SEO-friendly page structures and updates
  • Contribute to building internal tools or automations to improve team efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual work.
  • Participate in client calls when needed
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and clients
  • Occasionally work independently with clients on updates or requests
Requirements
  • Strong experience with WordPress (core CMS)
  • Proficiency in PHP (custom themes/plugins)
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience handling website maintenance and iterative updates
  • Experience working with SQL and databases
  • Ability to create design mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Framer, or similar
  • Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple websites and tasks simultaneously
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how development impacts search performance
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular — not required, but valued)
  • Familiarity with Webflow or other visual builders
  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients
  • Exposure to automation or internal tool development
