Main Functions:

Manage an updated inventory of all salvage and cases referred to recovery
Negotiate the best conditions with suppliers and potential buyers
Identify opportunities to improve results for the benefit of the Company
Audit the work of key suppliers ensuring compliance with the best practices
Perform buyer analysis and ensure compliance with internal policies
Establish the processes of the area according to the best practices

Accountabilities:

Effectively resolve complex-level claims and recoveries handled by the team.
Ensure accurate and consistent reserving and financial control of claims.
Mitigate indemnity and expense spending in claims while ensuring claims are accurately assessed within policy limits.
Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders.
Demonstrate vendor management skills and experience.

Skills:

Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English
Proficient in desk management, time management, and handling difficult customer interactions.
Develop and implement procedures to maximize business results within the work unit.
Build business partnerships and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Highly effective communicator (written, verbal, presentation).
Demonstrated abilities in time management and establishing priorities.
